Service Description
Six weekly sessions of pottery aimed at beginners. You will learn different techniques for hand building, throwing and glazing. The course are run by local potters Laura and Kathy from Laura Rose and Fieldhouse Pottery. There is a maximum of 6 people/ session. In hand building you'll learn pinch, coil, and slab techniques. There will be an opportunity for 2 people/ week to try the potters wheel. You will be able to choose one of your pieces to decorate with underglaze. This piece will be fired for you to keep. All materials are included in the costs + tea/coffee/cake. We are unable to give refunds for missed courses or change dates for courses booked. This is because we are a very small business and do not have margins to cover refunds.
